I had a stroke of genius this year. The best decision I made was deciding on 10 spelling rules as the springboard for me to come up with the 10 spelling words. With this skeleton in place, it wasn’t difficult for me to come up with 1 spelling word per rule.

If it seems that I’m having fun, it’s because I am. I gained a renewed sense of appreciation for the marvels of English words.

These seem like really hard words for them. Maybe your level is higher in Singapore than in Taiwan.

Obviously! We study it as our first language.

But inevitably, our command of Mandarin is lower than that of the Taiwanese
