after being away from home for 3 weeks, i found this fly in the refrigerator, already dead from hypothermia. thankfully there was no open food. maybe it has been there for 3 weeks, maybe only 1 night.

regardless, i fed it to the spider on the ceiling, he has made quite a web system over the kitchen sink (not visible on this photo). this is the second time i have fed him a fly. not sure if he has caught anything himself yet, but i keep rooting for him, and i hate flies.
