I definitely agree with you, this is the place for indie writers. When you get your values in order, there's a short list of things you're willing to compromise. I am perfectly fine compromising less reach in the service of sharing work in a way I can be proud of. I love the book title Sliced Americana. A writer I've take a lot of inspiration from is Sam Pink who's mostly selling on Twitter. I'll be browsing booklight, looks like a genuine project!
