There is one single thing that can a disproportionate effect on Bitcoin adoption that will ultimately make Fiat money obsolete: network effect.
Bitcoin needs network effect, the more the better. Shitcoins and stablecoins are an attack on that network effect.
If shitcoins suffer, even with attacks from the State, and that contributes to increasing the network effect of Bitcoin, that is a good thing that will ultimately have good consequences for the world.
Would you mind expanding on your logic? How is another blockchain failing immediately accretive to bitcoin? Who is to say the injured parties don't just return to fiat?
I am not disagreeing with you necessarily but I think some more depth would be helpful.
Network effects are zero-sum.
Because you are focused on the big picture of bitcoin and separating money from state. I agree with you.
But a lot of people in crypto just want to play with centralized databases with lofty aspirations. They are not ready for the full bitcoin mind fuck. I could easily make the argument that any discussion or publicity regarding freedom, decentralization, censorship is a good thing.
You are just trying to shut down discussion and thought, which to be honest is a trait I associate with "the other team"
"at any cost"
like sacrificing your family and friends to satan?
May the best coin win.
This is completely unrelated to what I said.
There is only ONE that matter: Bitcoin.
If you still doubt that... HFSP
