Mendoza, an Argentinian province, has implemented a system that allows taxpayers to pay their taxes fully with cryptocurrencies. The system, which was launched this week, is part of a strategic push for the modernization and digitalization of payments carried by the tax authority of Mendoza and uses the services of a third party to process the transactions.
My Take: This is a huge step in bitcoin adoption ! What's yours's ?
I read the comments below wondering why pay with good money. Notwithstanding, I agree with the OP that this is a huge step for bitcoin adoption. It's easy to convert local currency you planned to use to pay your taxes into btc right before payment. You can also easily use a hot wallet or an app like cash app for the transaction, which won't reveal your hodl stack. Then you aid in adoption for a country that desperately needs bitcoin.

Why would you pay your taxes in good money? rather pay it in something that is depreciating like the peso, don't allow the government to coerce you to give them bitcoin they didn't work for
