I don't consider myself a gourmand, but I've realized that I have plenty of food photos on my phone. This series showcases the meals my parents-in-law painstakingly prepare for me during our annual reunion. They exemplify the thoughtful care and おもてなしomotenashi (hospitality) they extend to me. It's nice to simply appear at the dinner table and tuck into delicious food. I typically head home during winter, so enjoying these dishes while sipping cold beer in a warm kitchen makes my day!
