This is such an incredible guitar piece. I found it via guitar hero back in the 2000s and it's been a lock in on my playlists ever since. Phenomenal guitarist.

It was a G3 show. He was the highlight for me. 

Wow. Nice. Yeah I have been a big fan of his since the original G3 tour in the 90s.

Typically in this series I have been trying to focus on epic guitar within great songs rather than just virtuoso guitar playing. However, I need to to make an exception for Eric Johnson's Cliffs of Dover. It is one of my favourite instrumental guitar pieces of all time. 

What I like most about Eric Johnson is he doesn't hide behind heavy distortion.
