The dead tree was my favorite shot. The area where I was walking was very lush and green and then there was a sudden clearing in the treetops (I guess because the dead tree had lost so many branches and all of its leaves). The juxtaposition of the dead tree on a clear blue sky with orange fungi doing their work against the shaded green forest was just so striking.
