I think as you grow older, as you age, people don’t have the same expectations of you, nor do you have the same expectations of yourself. And in general, you don’t have as much to lose. Most likely you have gone through many losses already and learned to cope. If you start dressing in a bohemian style and act outlandish in ways you never did, hopefully people will smile and just assume you have lost your marbles!
