Alrighty, after trying around some more, I've finally finished my newest - well, I wouldn't call it a "prototype" anymore, let's call it the newest edition - and I'm actually pretty damn happy with the result!

This time, it's actual 1000D Cordura, which makes me think that the other stuff I've used up until now will be either 500D Cordura- or Foxdura, anyways...

It's thought to be attached to the hip belt of my backpack, and it looks, carries and works pretty well on the first look!

I've made one prior to this one, but I botched it quite badly, which is why I took it apart (what a shit show) and partly recycled it into the second try- which you'll see below!

I've included a storm flap which covers the zipper's, partly because it actually protects against rain, partly because it allows the camouflage to cover the whole item, and partly because I simply find it to look pretty damn cool. 🤭

I've also included PALS-Webbing onto the bottom, allowing one to attach a small multitool-pouch, tourniquet pouch or whatever to the bottom of the hip belt pouch, thus increasing the possibilities of carrying stuff within hands reach (I'm a sucker for modularity and flexibility 🤭).

The PALS-Webbing on the back only features one row, since it's also only one row on the hip belt, totalling two rows which the loop is fed through; the rest of the loop gets fed back behind the two rows, and pulled tight upwards, fixating it quit tight in place, I'm confident!
