Harvested a bunch of peppers and smoked them, now they’re fermenting in a jar later to be made into hot sauce. Had a parent teacher meeting and hit the sauna.
Not a bad day. Thinking of spending some time on Replit, to give myself one more chance at learning to code in the hopes that I can contribute to Bitcoin one day.

It has its place, particularly on the internet for things that are highly abundant, such as text, video and sound. It doesent work in the grocery store because the grocery store is selling finite things.
Imagine if you could just walk into the grocery store and fill up a cart and then pay whatever you wanted at the checkout where nothing is the default. Probably wont work for long.
But when it comes to music, pictures, video and so on. You can recreate for it for almost free digitally, so this is where the value for value model comes in. Maybe you have 20,000 people listening or otherwise consuming your content but it costs you almost nothing to provide it to them digitally. So you can provide it for free and rely on the maybe small percentage of people that decide to donate and still end up making money. Sorry just felt like trying to clear that up. Have a nice day.

I'd love to be able to "follow" threads without having to bookmark them on a device but then not being able to come back in another like a phone, that could be even RSS feed for threads

Not a feature request per se, but wondering what the best potential solutions are, within the ethos of SN/BTC, for community moderation when someone is being a complete d-bag (#64335). Mostly just here to express my disappointment with humanity.

Messing around with React while working on a fun project at https://uselessshit.co. Today I'm working on improvements to the fiat to sats calculator and card generator. I'd like to make them serve as a embedded React widget (webpack).
Additionally I've been playing with LNPay and nest.js in order to see what fun stuff I could create 🙂
