The only reason NOT to do it could be that is "technical" and requires some knowledge and will to "fiddle" with it .For mere users of apps that could present a technical challenge (messing with option one does not understand). That doesn't seem to be an obstacle here, You already researched it and have a will to do it. I would say , no reason NOT to :-)
