Amazing live version of one of my favourite songs.
Jeff Healey lost his eye sight when he was a young child due to a rare cancer of the eyes, but that didn't stop him from growing up to be an incredible guitar player and musician. He passed away from lung cancer in 2008 but is still recognized as one of Canada's greatest musicians of all time. The song is so beautiful and the guitar solo at the end displays how incredible Jeff was despite his blindness. Enjoy!

I think your new series is a winner. You can then branch out-best acoustic blues guitar, classical, flamenco, bluegrass, etc.

So far, I am just going with what songs pop in my head but I may make it more intentional in the future.

All in good time. You're on a roll. Don't mess with success.

Love it! The same reminds me of a Scottish percussionist Evelyn Glennie!

Wow, she's got a lot going on there.

Dp you know that she became dead at the age of 11 only?
reply
No I wasn’t aware she was deaf as a child. She probably has a heightened sense of the vibration created by the percussive instruments.

Ohh! You caught the typo there! 🙏 She's completely deaf yet she is the best at Percussion.

Epic indeed!

I've never heard this track before but it's very "lighters in the air". A really beautiful song.
