In most sports they aren't too rich even if they win. Olympics are once 4 years for them, rest of events are not too popular to get too big sponsorships even if you are champion.

In major sports yes, but in Olympics major sports aren't majority. :)
Some can become coaches, but not all. If you are successful, some can go as coaches for less developed nations in that kind of sports. But still, not every sportsman can become good coach or coach at all.

I'm pretty sure this year or last some law got passed to where Olympic athletes get paid to train year round now..in the past some would be spotted working regular jobs so I know thats not a thing anymore crazy reading about the depression makes sense though totally understandable. Idk i could care less about them being on...Cool to have something on the tv when out or something i guess lol just in no way effects my life i like to think about the scene in bronx tale Mickey Mantle lol
