I’ve posted this on Nostr before but with the Indonesian rupiah on a never ending decline I wonder what the idea of the government is.
Hodling is not illegal but apparently you are not able to make payments as it’s deemed illegal.
However I really wonder how this is really handled in practice. Bitcoin can be used as a barter, is it then illegally as well? Are not able to swap motorbikes against food if you wanted to?
I did not a receive feedback from bitcoin house Bali. Silly me, just been there a few days ago but realized to late they exist - could have visited them up and speak in person!
