Cinched looks a lot better because it has more lines of symmetry imo
Yep, the symmetry's a good point, but does it weigh up to the added work?
I've also heard a lot of people question the cinched bottom, since the elastic could snap, making the bottle useless when out and about, it's unlikely, but also a valid point.

It probably also feels nice to have the feedback, the little bounce, from the elastic. Simple things with simple pleasures.

I like that the bottom is folded, so the bottle doesn't fall off easily when walking or running, and I think the seams fit the bottle well.
