Islam is a menace to civilized society. So many interpretations of it are of a religion of violence, hate, and oppression. Islam is also responsible for more conquest than anything else in human history. Yes, even the British: while Islamic countries weren't as successful at colonization than the British due to inferior technology, they tried a lot harder and were much more brutal about it. Indeed, the Crusades were actually a morally righteous response to Islamic conquests. The Crusaders were protecting Europe from getting wiped out by Islamic nutjobs who would have invaded Europe entirely if given a chance.
Violent interpretations of Islam should not be tolerated in civilized society. Unfortunately, that's most interpretations.
Hard disagree with your first sentence here.
Islamic countries may have been home to a lot of notorious terrorists like Bin Laden, ISIS and those Hamas leaders who were killed the other day, but every other religion is just as capable of creating an extremist people, and they do.
See for example Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, Antifa and groups like that.
None of this good, and extremism in all forms has to go.

I agree. The average Islamist will trash your opinion with his other worldly theories. They won't accept a simple thing that violence is violence, no matter you do it in the name of God (Zihad). I've listened from so many muslims that zihad is a good thing and it teaches them to against kafirism (idol worshiping). What happens if other people start viewing islam with the same eyes?
