Out of Turkey for a bit, it really hits you how great the food there, with all the spices and herbs; now I feel a bit bland eating some SE Asia food, uggggh, and I used to love the food here, especially in Penang. 😐

Thai food's probably my favorite. I'm not as familiar with other SE Asian cuisines, but it's shocking to hear them described as "bland".
