10 out of 15 participants voted and 6 out of 10 voted yes to adding a third strike via buy in. There were some good arguments presented on the no side but the people have spoken so @siggy47 @supercyclone @StillStackinAfterAllTheseYears @Coinsreporter @Athena are all eligible to buy a 3rd strike this week for 2000 sats. I have all your picks for this week should you choose to return. Re-buys must be in by Wednesday 12 pm est the latest (which is already 2 games in to the week for some but fair given the need to have a poll). Zap the sats to this post and comment below if you are buying back in.
The third strike will be available for the remainder of the pool to all competitors who choose to use it. Going forward if you are eliminated with 2 strikes and want to buy in a third strike, I need your pick and 2k zap submitted before first pitch of your selected team's first game of the week.
Reminder the pool is only a maximum of 7 weeks, with the last week of play being the week of August 26- Sept 1. The addition of the third strike re-buy makes it more likely the pool is determined by run differential tiebreaker. Tiebreaker standings will be added to every weekly recap.
Good luck this week!
I'm buying back in.

Bad news for him. He has the twins this week. Already 0-2. Fortunately Twins play the White Sox this weekend so you can be down 0-3 and still not out of it.

Twins blew up my differential last night losing 2-15 haha

Ouch. The week is young. You need a couple big wins.

It’s too early to think about tiebreaker
Edit: never mind. I forgot about the short schedule

I thought I was going to take a major hit to my run differential last night when the Dbacks were down 8-2 but the Nationals bullpen imploded and gave up 7 runs in the late innings and the Dbacks won 9-8. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good.
