As tensions heighten between Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah, the US government is actively working to prevent further escalation. John Kirby, Communications Director for the National Security Council, emphasized the need for a diplomatic resolution.
With the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, Kirby stated, "We don't want a second front to open in the north." The US has engaged in extensive discussions with various parties to mitigate the situation, believing escalation and a broader conflict are avoidable.
Over the weekend, an attack on the Golan Heights resulted in the deaths of at least twelve children and teenagers. Israel attributes the attack to Hezbollah, which denies involvement. Kirby affirmed, "The attack was carried out by Hezbollah, despite their denials. Israel has the right to defend itself and will decide its response. However, this incident need not lead to a broader war."

It's just 3 and half hours difference from here. I thought it to be around 5. New learning, thanks!
26 C is cool enough to have a nice walk. It's almost 35 c here with a lot of humidity.
reply
I guess so... humidity here, too, is running extremely high as we're living in a bay surrounded by mountains

How do you view these militant organisations in the Arabic lands being loved and protected by Muslim rulers?
I'm not against humanity but when I see muslims practising 'a hizab' in a European nation and claiming that this is their right seems like they are all alike. They always try to muslimise every place they go.

you mean groups like Hezbollah or Isis or al-Qaeda no? you have to realize that they were either founded or later taken over by foreign secret services that were already positioned by outside financiers during the geopolitical tensions of the cold war. they are pawns in the big chess game
