Does anyone else remember that the FBI wasn't allowed to access Hillary's server, because Crowdstrike had it?
Until proven otherwise, the presumption should be that Crowdstrike is part of the regime. Public choice theory applies to analyzing their actions more than standard market analysis.
Yes... I remember. I have always thought their operation was shady.
I remember seeing them shill their service on the news back in the day. They had this stupid map supposedly showing all these "attacks" coming from Russia and China. They present these IP addresses at face value when anyone in tech knows about VPNs and traffic routing. We usually have no idea where attackers are based. It is incredibly hard to determine their origin. They spoke with such certainty that I smelled a rat.
So yeah, you have industries that work hand in glove with the state(health care, banking, & transportation) and an untrustworthy cyber security firm like Crowdstrike.

The free market is the whipping boy of pop culture economics. The problem is always the market. No matter how centralized or managed the market is.
