I didn't go last year, but I'd guess it was normal levels of security. I hardly went to the venue this year even. I saw two talks:
  1. jimmysong and felton cap on the institutions white washing bitcoin
  2. the nostr talk with odell and jb55

yeah lots of people, most of them not really bitcoiners, but lots of bitcoiners too!
