I think you may not be familiar with the term “PK”. It stands for “player kill” and is popularised in Chinese online gaming forums. It has since made the leap to variety shows, in which two contestants are set up to compete against each other. The loser is eliminated from the competition and goes home.
I’m rereading “The Last Lecture” this weekend, and it occurs to me that I like to read books about people who were near the end of their lives. Call it a morbid interest, but I like to explore whether these brave, vulnerable individuals had anything significant to impart to me in terms of grand epiphanies and bite-sized slice-of-life lessons.
Am wondering if my fellow Stackers share my interest. Some questions that come to my mind:
  1. Have you read one, if not all, of the following books?
  2. If so, which book did you enjoy most?
  3. Just because you enjoyed a book doesn’t mean that you will recommend it to others. Will you recommend any of these books to others?
Which is the book most favoured by Stackers?

I'm not familiar with those, but my go-to recommendation is "1984" from Orwell.

We call 'PK' to someone who is heavily drunk! 'Peekay ho kya?' Ary you a drunkarad? In English.
I am familiar with all three but haven’t read any of them. I have seen video of the last lecture, it was incredible.
