I'll just say this. If I were a statist bitcoiner. I would be voting for Trump.
I think bitcoiners need to stop pretending we are going to convince the masses into being weird analytical libertarians and anarchists. That isn't happening. Not ever. Our brains work differently.
What is happening right now in bitcoin at this conference is just the next step in bitcoin ascendance. I think many think getting governments to be our friends is the goal. It isn't. Obsoleting them and their fiat is the destination. This phase is just a bus stop we have to make.
The game theory will play out. If Trump wins and then is replaced in 4 years we could see any promises he keeps reversed. This will be a lesson for many. We have a long way to go as a species. We that get it need to start acting like leaders, not followers, or complainers.
