India's manufacturing sector has seen a significant job growth over the past two years, surpassing the services sector. This turnaround is driven by government incentives, increased domestic demand, and companies expanding capacities. The sector is projected to create millions of jobs by 2024, contributing to the nation's goal of becoming a global manufacturing hub. https://m.stacker.news/41839

Still not enough to take care of the ever increasing inflation! Government needs to boost Agriculture with modern techniques as it's where Indian people are getting poorer.

So true! While India's service and manufacturing sector are on the rise but government has been ignoring the biggest asset of people which is very fertile land. India needs to reconstruct agriculture to speed up growth and fulfill the gap in jobs.

reply

Its getting better. Soon Indias production will be higher than chinas.

reply

I am not worried about India's production but I am worried about the neglect of agriculture which is very much important for India's sustainable development.

reply

Agriculture will pick up as there is a need for it. If the government doesnt subsidize, how will it get off the ground?

reply

There's no need to subsidize but there's huge need to push it up with allocation of funds for technical advancement in the method of farming.

reply

Allocation of funds and subsidizing sounds the same. Putting lipstick on a pig doesnt change the fact it is still a pig.

reply

You can say that but here in India we take subsidy when money is directly granted to the beneficiary. The money that's allocated in the budget for a sector does not necessarily mean subsidies in this way. The allocation will also be used for wages, infrastructure, innovation and other things.
