I'd throw in the Blockfi credit card because it's 1.5% sats back
Also Cash App debit card let's you round up in sats (like Roundly)

reply

Blockfi does not support lightning.

reply

🤦‍♂️

reply

I stopped using this card after they declined my $15 withdrawal during the defi blow up. A part of me regrets even using BlockFi but when podcasters interview the founders you get captured. I often think if Companies like coinbase and BlockFi stuck to only Bitcoin and had low time preference they would be absolute titans in the upcoming bitcoin economy

reply

I think the best strategy is to use fewer services from any companies

Nice feedback!

reply

Strong force we are ⚡️ haha

Theres also Sphinx, which is pretty cool! I’ve worked with their team a bit and while the whole thing was probably released too early, it’s got some pretty solid potential

reply

Yes, I am using it myself! But it is a bit buggy, and with the node thing, not sure if it is easy attracting more users.

reply

They offer cloud hosted nodes for you. Also, it’s a lot more reliable if you run it outside Tor.

reply

Now I see what's the issue 🙊

reply

Oh, there's also Satsback.com. It supports a surprising amount of online stores and while sometimes it takes a while for my purchases to be credited, it's always worked! Just make sure to either do it in a VM or in the very least, in an incognito browser window since it's important that you accept all cookies. A great way to stack sats when buying things you'd (hopefully) buy anyway.

oh... you missed out on starbackr.com project.. pls post your feedback...!

I like the idea of earning sats with content, but I think new platforms should pay less attention to promoting the "earning" part.

Why not make it more fun and easy for the creators to connect with their audience? 👀

reply

Nice post thanks!

I have been playing with Strike lately and I think it is being slept on a little. The utility to simplicity ratio is off the charts in my opinion. By adding a BTC "savings" account to a regular money transfer app, they have basically stripped banking down to the bare essentials. Will definitely be the app I use to bring normies in.

reply

Probably, but I prefer staying away from KYC wallets 👀

reply

there is also zapread a nice content creation website, what do you think about it?

reply

Just have a look, feels a bit messy 👀

reply

Somehow I still like more the podcast v4v experience in Breez, but the main issue is that Breez doesn't have all podcastindex.org podcasts.

reply

Exactly, and I mostly use Breez as a wallet only 😂

reply

Check out lnbingoapp.com which demonstrates how fast Lightning can deliver payments. No login or sign up or payments required - the site uses Twitter to uniquely identify users and sends an LNURL-Withdraw links (via Opennode) to instantly delivery prizes over Lightning.

@Natalia, Lightning, not lighting.

reply

Sorry for my typo sometimes(hey, I am a human 😂 ). SN def needs an edit option!

reply

I live for the day LN-auth has me signing into everything.

I really like what alby is doing to try and push that

reply

Yes, and I was surprised how easy to integrate with Alby to the sites⚡️
