I know there's some dispute in the UFO community about abductions, mutilations, etc. whether they're NHI or just Black Projects with super fast flying machines pretending to be aliens. Greer basically assumes all abductions are military pysops, because he believes ALL ETs are benevolent just because we haven't been wiped off the planet.

Not all humans are benevolent, just because the gorillas in the Congo are still alive.

My theory is that both have likely happened and overlapped at some point. ETs studying humans, tagging and monitoring just like we do with animals. We at least try to be sneaky about it, but we leave some evidence in the minds of the animals that see the Nat Geo photographers, they just have no idea what they're seeing.
