We believe it's time to build one that settles in bitcoin. Just in time for the Bitcoin conference in Nashville this week, we've launched Chromatic Markets. Our platform allows users to bet and receive payouts in bitcoin, using the Lightning Network. Bets and payouts are in bitcoin. The unit of account is USD and it's converted to sats when setting/settling a bet. For example, if you buy a "YES" token at $0.65 (975 sats at 66,674 USD/BTC) and the market resolves to "YES," you'll receive $1 worth of sats at the rate of the resolving date. Currently, an email is required for payouts. We plan to add support for LN invoices, LNURL withdrawals, and Lightning addresses soon. We're also working on expanding our market offerings.
