Prediction market could be used as a pseudo sports book but ultimately probably need a stand alone project. I am surprised no one has done it. LN Markets has done well and gotten lots of funding from Bitcoin VCs. An MVP probably gets funding pretty easily.
Good point. They are different things. It seems stranger and stranger, as time goes by, that Nitrobetting doesn't use Lightning.
Maybe it's a channel liquidity issue but LN Markets does it so clearly it is feasible.
Sorry for no update so far, I wasn't able to finish the new version of delphi.market but I made some good progress. Will need to finish the rest during the weekends.

Lightning login works great. I signed up with Breez wallet no problem. Tried to create an event but when I hit submit nothing happened.
Thanks for testing! That creating a market doesn’t work is expected for now.
Still waiting on our lightning sportsbook. :(
