It is weird. He had been flagged as suspicious 3 hours prior to the shooting and flagged as a threat an hour before.

I guess that's true, since the Secret Service is under Joe Biden's appointees. I tend to think that stuff doesn't matter very much. The permanent government workers tend to be pretty dismissive of the political appointees who are nominally in charge.
