There’s an idea that he didn’t write that letter and that it was part of a coordinated effort to get him out.
He definitely didn’t write the letter
The letterhead was not White House or president
reply
Well, I dont know if he has the focus anymore to do something like that.
reply
What? No way, he has to know by now that he isnt fit to run.
reply
I’m not saying I believe that, but I had been hearing that he was getting increasingly angry about being pushed out and was stubbornly refusing to.
reply
Well, you have to be senile enough to perform the tasks. Its time for him to go to the pasture.
reply
There’s going to be a lot of pressure for him to resign the presidency now. It doesn’t make sense that he’s incapable of campaigning, but he is capable of governing.
reply
I dont know, he might hold office for a while. I dont know if Harris wants to take on that responsibility yet. But it might help her campaign.
reply
He hasn't been seen in 4 days since his covid diagnosis.
He dropped out the race for president via a "letter"
Is he still alive?
reply
Very strange and suspicious
He will address the nation later this week
reply
WH staffers found out he dropped out by seeing it on X.
reply
Thank god for Elon lol
reply
That right there is poor communication.
reply
I do think there's a good chance this was a Soviet style "resignation" where Biden found out about it at the same time we did.
reply
Oh man, that would be rough!
reply
Well, we still haven't heard from him, have we?
That's pretty strange.
reply
Maybe he is recovering, though. He is kind of old, covid could have hit him hard. He might not have taken his booster shot on time.
reply
Considering he told the nation that you can't get covid if you're vaccinated, the real scandal here is clearly that Joe Biden is unvaccinated.
You're right. It could be as simple as that. Still, what we had heard from him was that he was feeling fine.
reply
Well, everyone proved that to be false. Im sure he got one.
reply
They published a 3.5 min phone call he made today with campaign. However the weird things were: (a) no interaction at all with other callers, like someone pressed play on recording....even when other side of call was cheering and clapping he just get plowing thru his message non-stop. (b) he was extraordinarily good with numbers and names...rattling off list of numbers of new campaign offices and thanking long list of personnel by name....odd considering a week ago he couldn't remember his own Sec of Defense name and instead called him "the black man"
Perhaps he is alive but they pre-recorded this message....maybe editing together a few different takes? Or maybe AI is that good? (I will say that it sounded very natural -- it did sound real).
reply
Maybe an AI or movie magic. I am sure they can afford it.
reply
I haven't seen that yet. Considering how poorly that previous phone call went, it wouldn't surprise me if they just played a recording.
He may not have even known it was a recording. What would prevent them from giving him a script and staging a call to get the audio? Then they can fix it up in post and play it to the campaign.
reply
Here was call. Sounds authentic to me but seems pre-recorded.
reply
I dont understand, what is wrong with prerecording? Get off his back. Grumbling over the smallest details.
Well, if you are given a lot of time, you can make anything perfect.
reply
AI for sure
it was like a stupid version of Charlie's Angels
hello Charlie Good morning Angels
