pull down to refresh

A lot of people here have probably read Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. However, I imagine people have not read his follow-up non fiction book: Brave New World Revisited. It is a short non-fiction reflection on the world as Aldous Huxley saw it in terms of what was coming true from his famous science fiction novel. Brave New World was written in 1932, while Brave New World Revisited was written in 1958. I found this follow-up piece to be fascinating. Huxley's writing is masterful and much of what he reflects on is relevant for today.
I plan to post a chapter from the book each week via Yakihonne or Habla. Here is the first entry, please read and discuss I'd love to see some nice back and forth in the comments.
