Bitcoin miners will have to implement firmware to compete in an ever increasing competitive market ⛏️
⚡️With the halving behind us and a couple months of miner monthly updates in the books. We are seeing the impact on decreased BTC rewards hit the miners’ bottom lines. Now they must be more strategic than ever; to put more hash online, secure cheaper energy, replace old rigs and increase efficiency in every way possible.
⚡️So why is firmware the redheaded stepchild of miner fleet efficiency and profitability? We get updates on new ASIC purchases, power contracts, cooling systems and AI / HPC contracts but why is no one asking about firmware? I recently spoke with
@LuxorTechnology
and they said "firmware users see double digit % increases in profitability." I think it’s time we start asking questions. The information we have on this is extremely limited
