You really can't make this stuff up. For those that don't know. Max Boot, member of the CFR (Counsel on Foreign Relations) has long claimed to be a conservative yet has never met a US war he didn't love. He left the Republican Party in 2016 in response to Trump take over of the party.

He probably gets paid more whenever there is war.

Haha. Oh man sometimes reality is so much better than fiction.

This story reminds me of the San Francisco politician that was a vocal gun control advocate who turned out to be smuggling guns into the state.

Heard about this from Tom Wood's Newsletter. Tom says.
In fact, Boot accused me of sympathizing with a foreign regime because I wasn't a fan of Woodrow Wilson's foreign policy -- and of course he has repeatedly accused Donald Trump of being a foreign agent.
Well, here's the latest, which has been all over the news: we've just found out that Boot's wife had been a foreign agent for South Korea for over 10 years in exchange for expensive clothing, handbags and meals.
In fact, just eight weeks ago Boot and and his wife wrote a joint op-ed for the Washington Post arguing that one reason not to vote for Donald Trump was that he wouldn't spend enough on South Korea.

I would be shocked if there aren't more of these types all over the think tanks in DC. When you centralize so much power and wealth it invites this stuff.
These think tanks are happy to feed you what you want to hear about the side you don't like. You will find that what both parties tend to agree on is always the worst things. War and destruction. Those are bipartisan. Sure they debate the details but they you can count the anti-war people very easily.
