Thank you all! It's a very ambitious goal but my trainer and I have concluded that it's not out of the realm of possibility, and as I enter my prime years of athleticism I want to aim the biggest I ever have aimed!

I’m getting more serious with my meditation practice. Went down the Buddhist book rabbit hole and came across the idea of the jhanas as a next step after a metta practice, read this article, and given some patience, miraculously entered the first jhana if only for a few moments…it is next level

It is addictive. I am doing a lot of paperwork these days, so it's easier to spend a few minutes here and then to post on SN. My activity levels here might decrease again after I finish the paperwork and finish my job application.

I'm asking because I was also planning to get a job in private sector but I just didn't find it worth as I was told to be paid less than $100. So, I decided to do some agricultural work and SN of course! With both of them I think I'll be better off than doing a job! At least I can be the master of myself.

Oh no, I've been working for a long time. Trying to get a permanent job in academia. It's highly competitive due to the broken nature of the pyramid shape that forms below a professor, having several postdocs, and even more PhDs under their guidance.

I was trying to get a job in primary school but hee in India, the salary in the private sector is very low and I thought it's better to do nothing than to do it for 2 to 3 dollars everyday.
