I can tell you from my experience with the Germans that only 15% of the electorate do not vote for the classic left-green block parties. in my opinion, the majority of Europeans are very satisfied with politics and are convinced that the world will soon end because of CO2 emissions.
But to some degree they must not be buying it, otherwise demand for these green innovations wouldn't be the hold up. That sounds like revealed preference to me. It seems Europe, like America, has a bad case of virtue signalling.
