Last time l went to DC, 4 years ago they had fencing up so we couldbt see the white house well.

Yeah that is the "unscaleable" fencing that I expect them to place around the Capitol again

It works to deter people from being too close.
Only the determined would really scale it when police are on the inside guarding it.

Honestly you get used to the protests and threat notifications and kinda figure out how else to move on. It is only when certain big events come up or happen that makes you look at it again and go umm wtf
