Very honest of you to admit you wanted Rosen or Darnold over Allen. Hindsight and all.
I give Arizona credit for realizing right away that Rosen was not their quarterback of the future and drafted K Murray
His college stats were average at best against not so great competition. He improved a lot after his rookie season working with a passing coach in the offseason. His mechanics changed which improved his accuracy which was a big question mark. Arm strength was not the issue. I thought he would be similar to Cam Newton. In some ways he is a more accurate version of Cam Newton.
Yeah, I definitely did not have him pegged as the standout QB of the top ten (though let's be real, all of them were whiffs compared to Jackson).
