I don’t know about other parks but at Rogers centre you can bring food and drink in if it’s unopened. They check your bags of course but we always bring in our own stuff. So no need to smuggle in the wieners.
very good policy
For me the lines and wait time are more annoying than the price which is absurd

When I was going to a lot of games, I had a pretty good system in place. I always sat in the 200 level because it was the least crowded having many fewer seats than the 100 and 500 levels (300 and 400 are for suites, press box, offices etc). I knew which gates to enter that would have the smallest lines, even if they weren't the closest gate to my seats and I usually didn't go to concession during the game but if I did it would be during early innings before most people would be getting up for food, drink, washroom trips.
For a few years when I had a yearly flex pack I would sit in the club section 200 level behind the plate because it had it's own entrance like the suites. At that time a friend of mine was working for Rogers and she used to get my buddy and I tickets for half price with her employee discount. Unfortunately for us she moved on from that job and we were stuck paying full price which made the club seats a no go but it was fun while it lasted. For a few years we had what I consider the best seats in the house for around 40 dollars per ticket per game.

How many games did you attend per season? 20? 40?
reply
10-20. I used to get 40 ticket flex packs with a buddy of mine. I went to more the two years they went to the ALCS (2015 and 2016) but usually 10-20 depending how we divvied up the tickets.
Most games would be the two of us going but sometimes we would use 4 tickets on a game instead of two. Occasionally he would take the tickets for a certain game and go with someone else and I would do the same. He lived and worked downtown, walking distance from the Rogers Centre so some years he would go to more games than me depending on my schedule and travelling (some of those years I was still travelling a lot back and forth between Toronto and LA).

How many Argonauts games per season lol

I haven’t seen the Argos live since they had Doug Flutie, Rocket Ismail, and Pinball Clemons.
They play at the same field as Toronto FC now and that’s a much better venue for them. I would like to catch a game at some point. I do occasionally watch the Argos on television if nothing else is on.
