A white paper, released on 11 July by glaciologists who conducted a series of workshops and town halls over the course of 10 months, calls for boosting research into daring plans that would protect vulnerable ice sheets by building flexible barriers around them or drilling deep into them to slow their slippage into the sea.
Although i do believe in the science predicting a pretty dire future ahead due to climate change, I don't think geoengineering is the solution. With every human intervention on something at that scale, the unintended consequences will be huge too. And it'll probably be ineffective anyhow in the end.
Had they have to pay 1 sat to publish that from their own pockets, they wouldn't. Utter bs, but functional to the narrative as always. "a series of workshops and town halls over the course of 10 MONTHS" to conclude that a way to prevent floodings is to contain the water,.. can you imagine the millions that go to "much necessary studies that have to be made to support our magnanimous intentions to prevent a disaster that can happen any minute now give me the money now or you die!!! hahaaa!!!! HAAAAAAA!!! .. oh here it's, ok thanks, let's go to the $10.000 catering table now to keep our sacred quest"

People have been predicting the end of the world for a looooong time. This climate hysteria isn't any different.
reply
It’s different this time because all the scientists have signed a letter to a newspaper

All the government paid scientists agree, the government needs more money to change the weather. And anyone who disagrees is a science denier.
reply
Finding a scientist who isn’t paid by the government is difficult because of matching grant money in the private sector
