Not running a node. Looking to stay on android. I am mostly just wanting to hold my own keys, but if there are others that offer other benefits or features I don't know about I would be hearing what people like and why they like them. I'm big on word of mouth reviews of things.
I've been a happy Breez user for years. Fully non-custodial, slick UX, value4value podcasts included. Breez is an excellent LPS (lightning service provider) so you'll never have to worry about opening/balancing channels, managing liquidity, etc. It backs up automatically to your Google/Apple account. So most of all "it just works"

Any android users want to help this guy out?

As I stated earlier though I am interested in hearing what others do as well, and why. I may change what I do in my bitcoin journey. Still learning and just want to hear others experiences also. Just genuinely looking to converse, listen, and learn.

Blixt is my favourite lightning wallet (android only atm). I recently compared the main non-custodial lightning wallets as I was onboarding a friend. From my experience, with Blixt you have much greater degree of control over channel management than other options and is very similar to running your own node in terms of available functionality. Some features include channel backups, signing with wallet key, connecting to your own Bitcoin node, Tor and inbound channel services. Ultimately running your own node is best but even then it is good to have a back up option for example when the node is offline.
