PRAYER OF THE DAY - Acts 2:38
Dear God, Creator of all things and source of all wisdom, we thank You for this new day that You grant us. Grant us, Lord, the grace to open our hearts to receive Your teachings and guidance on this day that begins.
As Acts 2:38 teaches us, we ask that you grant us repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins. May we humbly acknowledge our failures and turn to You in sincere repentance, seeking Your abundant grace and mercy.
Strengthen us, O God, with the power of Your Holy Spirit, so that we can live in accordance with Your will and act with love and compassion towards everyone we meet throughout this day. Enable us to be living witnesses of Your love and Your truth, bringing the light of the Gospel to everyone around us.
Guide us in every step we take, O Lord, so that we may glorify Your name in everything we do. May every word we speak and every action we take be in honor of You.
May this new day be a time of spiritual renewal and growth in Your grace. Grant us discernment to understand Your purposes and courage to follow them faithfully, even in the face of adversity.
May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill our hearts and strengthen us to face any challenge that may arise throughout this day. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray.
Amen.
