I'm just getting started on Stacker News and I'm really interested in learning more about how it works. This whole concept of using sats for upvoting and earning them for contributions is fascinating!
Could someone explain the platform a bit? Here are a few things I'm curious about:
Upvoting and downvoting - How much does it cost to upvote and are there any other actions that use sats?
Stacking sats - What are the different ways to earn sats on Stacker News? Are there any tips for getting started?

Welcome! The first thing you should do is zap this comment with 100 sats :)
Then you can start reading:
He only has 28 sats in SN wallet. I think you should first zap him 100 sats so that he can give back to you. :)
100 sats are very precious. My fake/duplicate account detector gives a score of 72%. 🤠

It wasn't stolen, it's an internal tool to test my bots. But it doesn't seem to be working very well because I've noticed suspicious activity here on SN and the detector says everything is fine. 🤣

The algo can be a bit of a head scratcher but basically the more you comment and tip the better you will tend to do.
Also post thoughtful contributions - don’t just spam the site. 😄
Welcome! Just be around. Stack sats, zap sats and repeat it.

You can set your default zap in your settings to whatever you want. I set mine at 10 sats.
Post, comment, zap whatever you like.
Tip is don't try to optimize for sats if you create and engage with good content they will come and have fun.
Welcome! My advice is to just post something every day. Being consistency counts for a lot.
