Also, I have a question. What is the consequence of a higher assessment? Higher property taxes or something else? The piece of news speaks mostly about the HOA fees (I guess). I'm not from the US.
Florida is a weird state for property assessments. I will talk to a friend in Florida tomorrow who can explain the situation to me. I will share his answer tomorrow
