QUESTION:
So I found this shareware game: game repo
I want to turn it into a lightning/nostr game, kind of like that lntictactoe game. I just like the idea of throwing some sats in on a guessing game like that, maybe even just loading them in up front for anybody that wants to play for some free sats. The license looks pretty, "do whatever you want",y to me, but maybe somebody that does this more often might have some more insight.

Thanks for the heads up! I always thought that it excluded commercial use, but I'm probably thinking of a similar one.

Looks like you are free to do what you will provided you post the copyright notice.
Also your idea sounds like fun. Please keep us posted. I would like to try it out once done.

OK! It may actually take a WHILE before I can do the lightning thing. The program is javascript, but a slightly different version than what I'm used to. HOWEVER, I have already been able to tweek the game for people that are more into niche music genres. I'll try to put it online tomorrow, but I've already added jazz, funk, and prog rock categories.

Thanks! It may take me a minute, but I'll see if I can figure it out.

This is the only condition of the license:
The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.
That's all you have to do to get any and all permissions like use/modify/sell.

Righteous. That's how I was reading it, but I thought I had to be missing something. I've always seen the version where you can do anything except commercialize. Cool, I'll just make sure to keep the license. Thanks for the heads up!
