I mean crypto is easier for the masses to understand lol Bitcoin is the big highlight here!
I would add though multiple Republican Members do own BTC and Sen. Cruz even owns a couple of BTC miners (literally he bought two… not sure why since I mean it’s literally two but it’s something 🤷🏼‍♂️)

I definitely know there are some that are pro bitcoin. I could be wrong but it seems like an election tactic. Better than being antagonistic to bitcoin though.

It still seems too fringe to be about appealing to voters who care about it. Maybe it's about appealing to industry people for donations. I'm not sure which Public Choice option makes the most sense.
It might even just be a small number of true believers getting these things through.

With how close these elections are looking to be and with how crypto has found pretty solid footing with younger adults in the US having such prominent people in the Dem Party be so outspoken against its another down the ballet issue that will hit swing districts and states.

Its always political tactics. But, that doesn't mean it isn't nice to see. Never trust a politician. What this tells me is that the influence of bitcoiners is growing.

Just checked a few minutes ago and JD Vance (the betting front runner for Trump’s VP pick) owns at least $250k in BTC as of a couple of days ago
