But God, not taking into account the times of ignorance, now announces to all men, and everywhere, to repent;

Acts 17:30
PRAYER OF THE DAY - Acts 17:30
Beloved Creator,
In this new day that begins, we turn to You with humility and gratitude. We recognize that we are all Your children, created in Your image and likeness. We ask that you grant us the grace to live in unity and love for one another, as you taught us.
Just as the book of Acts 17:30 reminds us, we recognize that, in Your goodness and mercy, You invite us to repent and transform our lives. We ask that you help us to abandon everything that separates us from You and our brothers, so that we can live in harmony and peace.
Strengthen us, O Lord, with Your wisdom and love, so that we can face the challenges of this day with courage and faith. May every step we take be guided by Your light and may we be instruments of Your peace and reconciliation in this world.
On behalf of all faith traditions and in unity with all our brothers and sisters around the world, we pray,
Amen.
Acts 17:30 is part of Paul's speech in Athens, where he speaks to the Greeks about the unknown God. In this passage, Paul says that God "now commands everyone everywhere to repent." This highlights the central message of the gospel: the need for repentance and a change of heart. Paul reminds listeners that God is gracious and merciful, offering the opportunity for transformation and reconciliation with Him. This passage emphasizes the universality of God's invitation to salvation and a transformed life, regardless of nationality, culture, or religion.

Repent. Or spend an eternity making the same bad choices. Little did I know how many were determined to make the same mistakes throughout their lifetime.
