For I take no pleasure in the death of one who dies, says the Lord GOD; be converted, therefore, and live.

Ezekiel 18:32
PRAYER OF THE DAY - Ezekiel 18:32
Dear God, Creator of all things and source of infinite mercy, we approach You on this new day with gratitude in our hearts. As You taught us through Ezekiel, we recognize Your goodness and justice, and we plead for Your compassion and forgiveness.
Look at us, Lord, with Your eyes full of love and mercy. As Your word reminds us in Ezekiel 18:32, You do not desire the death of the sinner, but that he should convert and live. He enables us, therefore, to turn from our wrong ways and turn to You with sincerity of heart.
May, on this day that begins, we reflect Your love and compassion in everything we do. Help us to reach out to those in need, to forgive those who have hurt us, and to seek reconciliation where there is conflict. May our words and actions be a testimony of Your love and Your grace.
Strengthen us, O God, to resist the temptations that come our way and guide us along the path of righteousness and truth. Enable us to live in harmony with our brothers and sisters, regardless of their beliefs or origins, recognizing Your presence in every human being.
May this day be an opportunity for us to grow in Your grace and become more like You. May we experience the fullness of life You offer us through Your redeeming love.
We thank You, merciful God, for Your never-failing compassion. May we live this day with gratitude in our hearts and with the certainty of Your constant presence in our lives.
In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, we pray.
Amen.
