For all of the claims that governments “create jobs,” in reality, government jobs come at a greater cost than any value those jobs may create. Government jobs are a burden to the economy.
This is basically the back and forth I was having with @DarthCoin earlier. Government steals money and redirects it in a less efficient way to their own ends. It is hard to see what the world would be like if they were not able to do this. I believe the prosperity of everyone would be even more incredible than it is today.

This right here is why the government will fail. "Effectively, the state steals from its citizens and gives the money to a firm with a good political standing with the hope that the firm will create jobs." How long do you think this can actually last for? We know many government jobs are like bloatware!

It’s hard to say how long it can go, because technology keeps making the real economy more productive, which lets it keep limping along while the state sucks the life out of it.

People will be opening their eyes. This Biden debate has really shocked a lot of people. Technology can only do so much, its like being tied to a huge boat anchor.
