I think it’s difficult to find a clear favourite between Spain and Germany. Apart from one match in 2020 , when Spain beat Germany 6-0, last few matches have been very tight.
Yesterday, I checked that in the 26 matches between Germany and Spain, there have been 9 draws, 9 German wins (31 goals) and 8 Spanish wins (32 goals). In football, history is what it is, but I give much more importance to the present moment. And in that regard, Spain is in a better position. Germany is not bad and has the home advantage as its main asset. For sure, it will be a very interesting game.

One last thing, that is being discussed over and over in Spain, is that we do not perform well against the host during World Cup and Euro.

I don't think this will affect future results in any way. It's just a statistical fact from the past. As 0x says, history means little in football. The game is almost over and Spain is winning, go go go!
